She’s gearing up to get hitched to fiancé Tim Rosenman and Whitney Port told Brides.com that she’s still in the process of deciding what to wear.
The “City” chick picked her favorites from Bridal Fashion Week’s Spring 2015 collection and it’s still up in the air whether or not she’ll design the gown herself.
Port confessed, “I haven’t chosen my dress yet, so it gave me a lot of inspiration. I’m not 100 percent sure [if I’m still going to create the gown]. I have a friend who is a designer that’s willing to work with me. But he also has so many beautiful gowns that he designed, which are already made.”
Whitney also eliminated certain styles from consideration- “I tried on some dresses that I never thought I’d want — like a big cupcake dress — for fun at Mark Ingram Bridal Atelier in New York City. And I was so right — I put it on and it felt so not like me. I want something non-traditional that’s still comfortable, delicate, and pretty. But I do want to step outside of the regular bridal box.”
As for designs still in contention, Port shared, “I’ve been toying with the idea of wearing a classic slip dress and this look is just simple and comfortable. You don’t have to worry about anything or the fuss of a big ball gown.”
