Bhumi Pednekar is starting her year with a bang as she graced the cover Verve, January 2018. On the cover shot, Bhumi is seen wearing a striped turtleneck top by Zara, which she paired with an H&M skirt. She styled the look with a pair of Riddhika Jesrani shoulder dusters and a Mrinalini Chandra ring. A fresh dewy face of makeup and her hair worn in a soft blow dry rounded her look.

Verve shared the cover on their Instagram and captioned it- “Having turned the last page of the calendar and welcomed #2018, we now embark on personal journeys of #discovery and apply valuable #lessons from the year gone by into the contexts waiting to unfold. Making an appearance on our #cover for the first time is experimental #actor Bhumi Pednekar (@psbhumi) followed by 23 young #dynamos who dare to follow their #dreams as part of our Fresh List on the inside pages.”

Bhumi Pednekar made her Bollywood debut with Dum Laga Ke Haisha in 2015 and it was only after two years that she starred in her next film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha which entered the 100 crore club. Subsequently, she reunited on screen with Ayushmann Khurrana in Shubh Mangal Saavdhan which won the hearts of the audience and critics alike.

When quizzed about 2018, Bhumi revealed, “I hope it turns out to be even better than 2017. I am reading some amazing material. Starting with Chambal, whatever is in the pipeline is great. I am doing the kind of work that I love and with each passing day, I also gain a new experience. All those things that I dreamt about while growing up about my life as an actor are happening now. I hope it just keeps getting better. I really want to continue being on a path of physical and mental fitness.”
