Akshay Kumar’s ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ to release on June 2


Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar recently began work on his next film titled ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’, which also stars Bhumi Pednekar. The film directed by Shree Narayan Singh, will have PM Narendra Modi’s Swacch Bharat Abhiyan campaign as its underlining subject.

According to reports, the love story that blossoms in this film has the male lead playing character of a Pay-&-Use toilet owner who falls in love with a girl from the slum areas of the city. The film is believed to highlight the importance of the pay-and-use toilet scheme and curbing the social evil of defecating in the open.

Although ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ is only a week into its production, that hasn’t stopped the makers from announcing 2 June, 2017 as the release date. The makers took to Twitter to announce the release date.
