Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald dropped its anticipated first teaser trailer Tuesday.
The second of five new adventures in Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling’s new wizarding world is stirring up the magic again.
The powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp), previously captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), has escaped custody and has set about gathering followers for dark deeds.
Grindelwald is seen being held at wand-point in the new trailer.
The trailer gives a good look at the Beasts’ debut of young Albus Dumbledore (played by Jude Law) who is working with his former student Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to stop Grindelwald.
The Crimes of Grindelwald, directed by David Yates with a screenplay by Rowling, will be released Nov. 16.
